Abstract

This project demonstrated a novel TUI for physically interacting with volumetric CAD data. We uses pre-distorted projection mapping technique to create the illusion of viewing the interior of a physical object. Users are enabled to observe internal structure from arbitrarily view positions and are also allowed to use their own hands to directly apply parameters, such as pressure or heat, on a projected simulation.
