Abstract
A successful urban planning policy relies on good communications between the government and its citizens. In this project, we propose to use computer simulation to visualize and demonstrate the planned future of a city. Based on the government's master plan, we conduct a scenario script and build 3D environments to tell stories. The result is well recognized and accepted by both the government and citizens. After running a qualitative user study, this method is proven to be more effective and efficient than conventional design media.
