Three-Dimensional Pointing System for Remote Video Communication

Abstract
This project demonstrated a novel idea of using a flash light to target at objects at a remote site through the computer monitor. We simulated the path of the light penetrating into one screen then coming out from another to light up remote physical objects. The user study showed that this prototype is intuitive and efficient for remote targeting and communication.
